Calanus oil contains a blend of different fatty acids
Our calanus oil is a high-quality dietary supplement containing EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid). These polyunsaturated fats, also known as "fish fatty acids," have numerous benefits.
EPA and DHA support the health of your heart, brain and eyes. At a dosage of 250 mg, DHA contributes to maintaining brain function and normal vision. In addition, at a daily intake of 250 mg, EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function. Stearidonic acid (or stearidonic acid), is a lesser-known omega-3 fatty acid. SDA is an intermediate step in the conversion of the omega-3 fatty acid ALA to EPA.
